The Adams Farm Market Fall Festival will be underway later today, Saturday, September 17, 2011 and run through Sunday the 18th..

We will be running the modules in a greenhouse, and a loop through the mums.

If you can help staff either or both, please contact Dave Cozzens.

Editor is hopeful someone will have taken pics and will submit them, or post a link to their own set of picawaiting for pics

Bring a train to run, and an Eggliner, too!

Checked on how things went today and the crowds were pretty steady from about 10 until 4.

We're going to get there for circa 9:00 to test our Eggliner through the mums.

A great group of VGRS members present today lending a hand at running two very nice layouts. The Garden RR outside is quite excellent although it has a pretty good grade to maneuver. The Forney handled it nicely with a box car and caboose in tow, as did several Eggliners. Ron's consist also ran well, even though the power supply was a little on the light side! The modular layout is the largest we've ever installed and operated with both battery and track powered consists working nicely.

Sunday was another great running day for VGRS on both the Garden RR and the Modules. Many thanks to all who were there for picking things up at the end of the line! No serious derailments both indoors and out on Sunday. Thanks to al who participated in running trains both days.

What great weather we had.

Bob

Thought it was a great 3 days, lots of different type trains and a big module display. Only suggestion is to have two separate power supplies for the two loops.

Travelled to E.Montpelier yesterday and worked on Donny's Davenport Diesel. We got the Knuckle coupler restored and then body mounted a Bachman Knuckle Coupler on an Observation Car. Lines up perfectly. Hope to check out my K27 today to see if I can 'fix' the chuff.
Checked out pics of the Fall ECLSTS it appeared to be a bit light in terms of size and crowd.
