On August 1st, 2014 the Vermont Garden Railway Society lost it's assistant conductor, Bob DeForge.
Bob served in many capacities over the years as Semi-Conductor, then Conductor, and finally as Assistant Conductor.
His encouragement to the members individually and in group efforts moved the society in multiple directions.
Through his efforts we now have updated logos reflecting our 20th anniversary. The logo has appeared on shirts in various styles, cakes and these web pages.
Easy to apply rub-on transfers made making annual cars or rolling stock possible.
He was in from the beginning for the modular group builds, including the most recent - a Time Saver Puzzle 4 module set.
A Memorial Service was held at on Aug. 23, at 1 p.m., at Bob & Beth's house at 1607 East St. in Brookfield, Vt.
